Spring is Here!

Spring has sprung. OK, so it may be snowing right now in some parts of Red Sox Nation, but still, pitchers and catchers are reporting and Spring Training has begun!

We’ll spare the analysis of the new guys (Casey and Aardsma), the contract extensions (Lowell, Schilling), and the deals that didn’t happen (Buchholtz and Lester are both in camp!) and just do some plain old celebrating today.

The Celtics are clinging on to domination, and fighting through injuries (who would have predicted KG would be missing games and Ray Allen would be playing), the Patriots are, well, suffice it to say that we aren’t thinking much about the Patriots, and the Bruins and Revolution, well, they play Hockey and Soccer so who cares? So what sports can we talk about? How about baseball! As I look outside today, its sunny, and even though the sun seems to be setting already at 3:00, I am still looking forward to the days of skipping out of work early to head down to Fenway Park.

Yes, Red Sox season is here, and that means its time to start blogging again. As always, we’re looking for new contributors, and will have plenty of site updates in place by the time the season starts. Time to start living (and dying) by the Red Sox again, and I for one, can’t wait to see some actual baseball being played! Less than 40 days to opening day - and so begins the countdown.

Stumble it!
