Coming Soon: Spring Training
I can finally stop shaking enough over the Patriots to actually type. Yes, we all know they lost, and that means its RED SOX TIME again! Spring Training is right around the corner.
Soon enough, our ridiculous pitching staff along with the catchers will be at the City of Palms park, fighting over who had the craziest off season story. It will be a Happy Valentines for Red Sox nation when they arrive on February 14. 6 days later, the rest of the reigning World Champion Red Sox team will be in uniform. Then, they start playing actual real life baseball on February 28 when they split up to play Boston College and Northeastern. And from there, the season starts pretty quickly since they will be in Japan to kick off the season early this year.
Personally, I have to focus on the Red Sox. The Patriots have now replaced the Sox as the team who blows the lead - something I never would have thought would happen. Bill Buckner and Aaron Boone don’t seem so bad now that we have the memory of Eli Manning beating what would have been the greatest team ever.
But anyway, enough of the Pats. We have a champion in our midst - and its the Red Sox. Lets win our third this year! I think we will, becuase if we get close and lose, I don’t think I can take the pain again.
