Can We Sign Mike Lowell Now?
The Red Sox, in their never ending quest to find $70 million to pay J.D. Drew, have officially raised ticket prices again this year.
Lower Bleacher seats will increase from $23 to $26.
Outfield grandstand, infield grandstand, right field roof box and right field box seats will increase in price from $45 to $50.
Loge box seats will increase from $85 to $90.
The team said the increase is to pay not only for player salaries, but improvements at Fenway Park. “The improvements for 2008 include more seats and standing room, thereby increasing the supply for which demand is so strong in the oldest and smallest ballpark in baseball,” the team said in a statement.
The price of upper bleacher seats and standing room tickets will be unchanged.
