Behind The Gold Glove
There is always a lot of talk about players being Gold Glove winners. We all know that this means they are good defensive players, but what is the Gold Glove, really? I mean, Mike Lowell is a supposed gold glover but he’s made 12 errors already this year.
Well, the name of the Award is actually the Rawlings Gold Glove Award. Managers vote for the winners, and they are not allowed to vote for anyone on their own team.
