I was looking around for something to do this weekend, and realized that JD Drew’s new movie, Nancy Drew: They Mystery in Hollywood Hills opens this weekend! Starring 18 year old Emma Roberts as JD Drew, this mystery movie is all about solving one of the greatest mysteries Los Angeles has ever seen – how JD Drew can spend $70 million dollars.
While on a business in LA with Scott Boras, Nancy Drew stumbles upon a great mystery. Where are all the baseball fan’s in LA? After finding no real answer besides “probably already in the parking lot to beat traffic,” Nancy’s resourcefulness and personal responsibility are put to the test when she finds herself in the middle of the fast-living, self-indulgent world of Hollywood. She decides that after being in LA for just a short time, she needs to get the hell out. This comes even after she called in to her favorite radio show and said how much she liked it there and how she wouldn’t leave. Then, on her way out of town, Boras gives her $70 million and the rest of the movie focuses on spending money, making investments, and hitting .236 with only 25 RBIs.
