The Return of the Yankees - and crappy announcers
This weekend promises to be a great one. If we win, the Yankees are toast and totally out of it. If we lose, we are still way ahead. Most likely, the teams will split today and tomorrow and it will all come down to Sunday night. And all of you who aren’t at the game will have to listen to Joe Morgan call the game. And it will probably be awful, as usual. Tim McCarver on Saturday will actually be a blessing - he may be a Yankee fan, but at least he knows a little bit about baseball. Morgan seemingly just makes stuff up and quite often says the entirely wrong thing. Come to think of it, they both pretty much suck and I am very thankful I will be at the game, making my own commentary to the unlucky soul who gets to sit next to me.
Even The Family Guy makes fun of Tim McCarver! Thanks to the guys at Shut up Tim McCarver we can all see it. And yes, the have a better page rank than McCarver’s own page. Go ahead, google “Tim McCarver” - you’ll see them first, even before Tim’s own page.
