ARod Cheats Too
Let me start off by saying that my feelings for Alex Rodriguez have mostly to do with the fact that he is on the Yankees. I will ackowledge that he is, in fact, the best player in baseball today, hands down. Don’t argue with me either - I don’t want to hear about how Guerrero can hit bad pitches or how Albert Pujols’ swing is better. ARod is the better player, has a near-perfect swing, and plays his ass off every game.
Unfortunately, the players union didn’t let him come here (total bullshit) and he’s now a Yankee. So he sucks.
Last night, ARod cheated again, but taking out Dustin Pedroia with his elbow, essentially punching him, in order to break up a double play that scored a run off Okajima and ruined his scoreless streak. This is cheating. You can’t slide into a base, then get up and punch the second baseman to make it hard for him to turn the double play. Once again, ARod is trying too hard and going too far to win. He is clearly frustrated by losing year after year in spite of being the best player. Check out the video.
