Happy Opening Day!

It’s finally here! And thank God its in Kansas City, or at least not in Boston becuase it is a very cold and rainy day - not the weather you want for your day at the park.

The first road trip almost feels like an extended Spring Training sessions. Though the games count, baseball doesn’t feel like it has started until the Sox are running out on to the field in Fenway Park. But either way, Curt Schilling will be hopping over the foul like on his way out to the mound in (beautiful?) Kansas City this afternoon to start earning the big contract that he is asking for for next year.

My official predictions for the Sox this year: 94 wins and winning the AL East by 2 games. Yankees aren’t able to recover from their early season pitching woes and miss the playoffs as the wild card comes out of the Central division again this year. Matsuzaka is named Rookie of the Year with 17 wins, Dustin Pedroia is the biggest news hitting .273 with an astounding 42 doubles, and Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz combine for 300 RBI.

GO SOX!

Stumble it!
