JD Drew is a Weirdo
Lets make one thing clear: JD Drew is a good baseball player. Nobody ever doubts his abilities. Assuming he stays healthy, he’ll be a great addition to the Red Sox lineup hitting behind Ortiz and Manny.
But lets go beyond baseball and examine a few “fun facts” about JD.
- His name is David Jonathan Drew. He must be dyslexic because that looks like DJ, not JD to me.
- He is a born-again Christian and loves Jesus, and he follows the “Maker’s Diet” which seems a little foofy to me. Raw sauerkraut? I’ll pass.
- He wears a BIOpro chip and pendant to limit cell phone radiation from negatively affecting his body’s cells
- Below is a picture of the Quantron Resonance System (QRS) he uses on a daily basis.
He also spends time in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, which was made famous by none other than Michael Jackson. Price tag is around $15,000 from what i can tell.
None of this will matter if it does what it is intended to do and keep the guy healthy. He may be one of the weirder players on the team, but who cares if he produces. Time will tell, and we’ll see how his numbers look in September. My prediction on the year is 135 games, 22 HR and 92 RBI with a lot of doubles pulled up the right field line. If that happens, I’ll be happy!

Terrell Owens sleeps in one of those chambers too. It must keep one’s douchebaggery fresh.
