Roger Clemens on the Red Sox in 2007?
The Red Sox are talking about Roger again, saying they are going to make another effort at signing him for at least part of this year. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Please please please get him here to end his career. This picture is of his first professional pitch (AP File Photo / Roger Clemens first pitch 10.25.86) and I’d love to stick one of his last up here with the same Red Sox uniform on. Not only would it give us a great pitcher, it would ensure he goes in to the Baseball Hall of Fame with a Red Sox cap on, and make my getting over Dan Duquette complete.
Since they are going after him, at least we know that they have learned their lesson and won’t ever make moves because of “too much pitching”
