Roger Clemens, Anywhere but THERE!
Roger Clemens was my favorite baseball player growing up. I have every one of his baseball cards from 1985 until he left the Red Sox (or should we say, was sent away by Dan Duquette) and won some Cy Young awards in Canada. That wasn’t so bad. Then he went to the Yankees. Fine, he wasn’t coming back here. But now, we have an ownership in place that wants him back and clearly isn’t worried about spending money this year. Clemens should have signed with us last year, but he made the mistake of staying in Houston - fine. Home with the family is understandable. But now, for the love of GOD, don’t go back to NY. Either retire or come to Boston, I BEG you.
